Well, here were are, I thought. My name is Ben, and I’d like to tell you my Lean Belly Breakthrough story. First, I’ll give some background, please bear with me!
I had hit 45 years old, and I was just getting complacent in my life and I knew it. I am a dad of 2 great kids, Josie, the best ballerina I ever met, and James, a kid who loves numbers and excels on his schools’ Mathletes team. They are twins and my whole world. And I have a lovely wife, Martha, who is a loyal partner, fun friend, and superb mother. To top it all off I have a good job in sales, and we live in a lovely home. I grew up poor, so I’m happy to be where I am today.
Growing up with no food meant that I sometimes did not get enough to eat. My mother was a single mother and too proud for food stamps or other assistance. She worked hard to put food on the table, but when paychecks were late or delayed, we would go for a day or two without eating.
Sometimes I’d casually ask a buddy down the road if he had a snack, never letting on that it was because I was starving and had not eaten that day, just another young, growing boy needing some food.
I was always a skinny guy. And because of my skinny frame, the high school track coach asked me if I’d like to join. So, I did, because a buddy of mine did and because the coach sometimes bought the guys pizza after. I’d scarf down five or so slices, everybody laughing about where I put it all.
I could eat whatever I wanted. Teenage boy plus growing up plus track? Eat all you like!
This continued into college. I started university nearby, and even got a job in the cafeteria as food prep worker. I’d prep food for four hours each morning and clean, then get to my first class at ten AM. I joined Runner’s Club, and the gang of men and women would just run for fun around town every day.
I was tired at the end of my days and ate pretty much what I liked. Twenty-somethings can do that. Plus, this little job and the other odd jobs I’d do for neighbors helped me support my mom a bit, I was still living at home after all. I just ate whatever and went about my business.
Eventually, I decided it was time to branch out a bit. I had saved a bit of money and wanted to go on an Alternative Spring Break for my senior year of college. We would be building homes for some poor people of Ghana, and I was so excited to see and help a new group of people. It was my first time out of the country, and I could not wait. I took the bus to the airport and waited for my fellow students. We all arrived in a cluster and boarded the plane.
I was seated next to a young woman who had mentioned her name was Martha. We talked and chatted quietly, and I was laughing and having a good time. She stated she would be teaching English to the kids of Ghana, and while I was building homes, she would like to come visit with me after the work was over at the end of the day.
The trip went well. Martha and I started seeing each other after the trip. The relationship went so well that we eventually moved in with each other. By now, I’d graduated and worked full time, so I had my own apartment the in next city over. We always know what happens when you get into a good relationship: you eat. Martha is a great cook and loves to try recipes. I love eating. I treasure food because of how I grew up.
I had still kept on running, however. I ran each morning around the neighborhood or on a basement treadmill during rainy days. Life was good. And two years later I did not know it was about to get even better.
Martha announced she was going to have a baby. I was over the moon. My kids would be happy and never hungry. My joy multiplied when I found out it was twins. I could not have been luckier!
Martha demanded the things that pregnant ladies like to eat: ice cream, pizza, pickles and more. I obliged her, and of course I dug in too. My running took a back seat as I opted for overtime in preparing for the pay, we would not have when Martha took time off to be with the kids their first month. I also made sure to carve out time to go with her to a few doctor’s appointments, often stopping for a quick fast food lunch before getting back to the office.
You can probably guess the rest of the story here. Josie and James entered the world five minutes apart, and my life became about them. I did not care about running, I wanted to hold my babies before a long workday ahead. I also was getting up in the night to give them bottles and change diapers. I was much too tired to run!
And I opted to help Martha out by bringing home pizza, Chinese food, fried chicken and more. This made it easy, we could just eat, throw away the containers and hold the kids while watching TV.
That was ten years ago. Now my kiddos are in the fifth grade and full of energy. They are well behaved and easier to care for than when they were babies. I was ready to get back into fitness.
Getting Back into It
Problem was, I didn’t know how. I’m 45 now, and I had no idea where a guy like me could begin again.
I didn’t want to pull muscles and injure myself. I wanted to make sure I could play outside with Josie and James and go on walks with my wife.
On my lunch break at work, I started Googling what to do. One of my coworkers, Ron, stopped in. Ron was a big guy. I hadn’t seen him in two years, but I remembered him well for his big laugh.
Ron looked slim as all get out. I exchanged pleasantries with him and then asked him, “You look great man, what did you do?”
“Lean Belly Breakthrough!” he beamed. “Tell you what buddy, I have to get back to work, but call me, okay?”
I shook hands and called him later that night.
“It’s really easy, Ben. All you have to do is eat the right foods and do the lean belly ritual each day. The fat melts off.”
“Is this lean belly breakthrough scam?” I asked, point blank.
“No way!” Ron laughed. “But you can’t expect to read the book, and have it work for you, you have to do the work.”
I bought the program and started reading on it.
The creator is Bruce Krahn, and he worked with a man named DR. Henrick to create this program for men and women who are older. 50 is the target age, but Ron and I were in our 40s.
You do this: You eat the right foods and do a 2-minute lean belly ritual each morning. That’s it. No diets, no exercise, no crazy pills.
Inside my Lean Belly Breakthrough kit, I got a list of the good foods that melt belly fat. I also got a list of bad foods that contribute to heart attacks, and some healthy desserts you can eat if you have issues with blood sugar.
Dr. Henrick also included ways to tell if your heart is at risk, good information from a good doctor. He also shows you how to decrease fat from different parts of the body.
He also shows you which herbs, nutrients, and spices are the best at affecting hormones that are responsible for storage of fat.
Another cool thing you learn how to do is use your sleeping metabolism to your advantage, and also the 60-second belly shred. There is also a libido-boosting food sheet, and tracker sheets to keep the record of your progress (they are really good, but I did my own in Excel).
My Experience With Lean Belly Breakthrough…
So, I was really happy to utilize this program by Bruce Krahn. He is a personal trainer to the stars and the fact that he worked with a real doctor to make this very credible.
I started by stocking my house up with the good fruits, veggies, legumes, grains, and lean meats recommended by the program. I started my day with a healthy breakfast of fruits and oatmeal and then did the 60 Second Belly shred workout.
Then I showered and went to work, at lunch I ate a salad with grilled chicken breast and light dressing. Dinner with the kids and Martha was a nice vegetable stir fry with chicken.
I followed the formula all week and in the first week, I lost 7lbs. I could hardly believe it. I felt so good that I did not even feel tempted to eat cookies that were brought to the office that day.
Now some temptations are easy to turn down, but others, not so much. So, you have to follow the program 90% of the time and be a little flexible 10% of the time. Of course, I ate a couple and complimented my daughter on her good work. But the next day I made sure to double up efforts and went for a brisk walk at lunch after enjoying my salad. You have to be disciplined, eat within the limits, and do the exercises.
So, Does It Work?
I’m not going to lie to you, the program does work. But don’t believe all you read online. I read some Lean Belly Breakthrough reviews where somebody claimed to have lost 30 lbs. in 30 days.
Now come on, we know that is not healthy unless supervised by a doctor. Approach this program with a realistic idea in your head and you will do just fine. It is a simple formula: Good food + calorie deficit exercises prescribed by Dr. Henrick and Bruce Krahn =weight loss.
When I first started this program, I was 260 lbs. I’ve been at it for 6 months now and I am down to 230. Height for me is 5’11”. I look and feel better than ever!
And I don’t want to get too rude here, but remember when I told you about the foods that help boost your libido? Well, let’s just say it works. With my weight loss, I can honestly say I feel better about myself and my confidence has made Martha fall in love with me all over again, it seems. I’ll just leave it at that. 😁
Do not go into this program thinking you’re going to lose a pound a day just by doing some crazy ritual and reading about good foods. No, you have to eat portioned, healthy foods. No snacking on candy or chips. You have to do the exercises as prescribed.
It is a great program designed by a professional personal trainer and a real doctor.
It will work, but only if YOU are willing to put in time and effort.
You will NOT be hungry.
You do NOT have to buy fancy foods or shakes.
You will NOT lose weight fast, it is going to take time.
You ARE going to learn how to eat healthily.
You ARE going to do easy, effective exercises that are great for all ages.
You ARE going to lose weight in a healthy and steady way.
So, guys and girls, don’t spend another day wondering what you can do. Take my Lean Belly Breakthrough review to heart and see what you can do for yourself. If this old dad can do it, you can too. Invest in yourself with the help of the good doctor and the great personal trainer!
